BEATRIZ ROS

Málaga, Spain, 1984

Presented by GALERÍA YUSTO/GINER

Graduated in Fine Arts and with a master’s degree in Social Development of Artistic Culture from the Universidad de Málaga, Beatriz Ros has been awarded the Best Academic Record 2011 and the National Career Award for University Education 2010/2011.
Through the fixed plane, repetition, slowing or temporal acceleration, among other visual resources, Beatriz Ros talks to us about the gap between words and ideas; between ourselves and the world. Using the wound as a metaphor for this split, ink as a symbol of words, or wood as the origin of all materials, she uses an essentially poetic language, coherent with her parallel incursion into this literary discipline. Likewise, the use of her own body and her everyday life leads to an autobiographical work of an intimate, evocative and emotional nature.
