Drawing is one of the cornerstones of the creative process of Felipe Ortega Regalado. Multidisciplinary artist, in 2001 he completed his degree in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, where he carried out the research work with which heobtained the D.E.A. in 2007. He combines his artistic work with the curating of exhibitions and the organization of different cultural proposals. Ortega Regalado explores in his drawings the periphery of the ornamental and the limits of figurative construction, suggesting narratives that are articulated from interrupted stories that endow his work with a deep dreamlike character of surreal descent, starring in forms that hint stems, roots, seeds, bulbs, ribs and other plant suggestions. Sometimes, the drawings serve as a starting point for the development of short videos, which allow you to explore other narratives, where the shapes mutate and reflect showing their proximity to a certain natural order.
