Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country and graduated in Printing Techniques in Oviedo, he holds a master’s degree in sculpture from the Wimbledon School of Art in London. Since the beginning of his career in themid-nineties, his work has been shown in significant national and international art centers, having received the Prize of the Marcelino Botín Foundation ofPlastic Arts (2006), the Honorable Mention of Generación Caja Madrid and the ABC Award (2007) or scholarships from the Art and Law Foundation (2008) and the International Studio & Curatorial Program of New York (2009). His project on La Engaña, structured by a series of drawings made with his own blood, collects the memory of the railway tunnel built by republican prisoners in the Pasiega town of Vega de Pas, with the purpose of linking Cantabria and the Mediterranean, railway which was abandoned before its conclusion.
