Graduated in painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon, Paulo Damião’s work focuses on oil painting and drawing.

The artist deals with portrait and self-portrait themes and the aesthetic and philosophical concept of human representation. Light and colour are studied to achieve the search for the sublime.
