ADDAYA CENTRE D’ART CONTEMPORANI

Multidisciplinary artist who finished her studies of Fine Arts at the Complutense University of Madrid in 1997 and entered the exhibition scene from 2001, reaping awards such as the Photography and Architecture Prize of the Ministry of Development in 2001, the project grant Generation of Caja Madrid in 2003 or that of the Spanish Academy in Rome in 2012-2013. Her work, built from her experience and biography, has as its starting point domestic and urban spaces in which sheincorporates different elements through drawing. At first, these were ephemeral interventions and on-site installations in which she interpreted real space to establish a dialogue between memory and imagination. The collections of drawings, as well as his photographs, videos and animations, allow her to reflect a narrative that makes explicit the absence of a situation or a specific moment of his biography.
